About Us

District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) were envisioned in the National Policy of Education, 1986, and were created by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development in the early 1990s to strengthen elementary education.
District Institute of Education and Training Madina was established in the year 1991. This institute is situated in village Madina, 20 kilometers away from District Rohtak and is situated on State Highway NH 709. This institute helps in coordinating and implementing government policies at district level. It is devoted to impart quality education with values and equip school teachers with new means, techniques and strategies to make teaching learning process effective, innovative, stress free and interesting.
Mission
The mission of our DIET, as envisaged in NEP 1986, is to provide academic and resource support at the grass-roots level for the success of various strategies and programs undertaken in the areas of elementary and adult education, i.e. for the universalization of primary/elementary education and NLM targets in regard to functional literacy in the age group. Henceforth, in the light of NEP 2020 DIET Madina and all DIETs in the state will provide academic and resource support to foundational to secondary stages of educational functionaries.
